  • Awards and achievements
  • RCPCH golden medal for my work to improve child health in Egypt
  • Certificate of appreciation from RCPCH for the great success of Cairo center for MRCPCH
  • "Our dream to be true" a tri-armed holistic approach for optimizing early child health in Egypt by training professional, educating health works and creating a new cadre of family counsolers through task sharing approach. She could reach > 600,000 mothers and trained about 2200 counsolers. Through this approach she could reduce stunting from 21% to 10% at 2 years of age, improve EBF from 13% to 52% at 5 months of age. She is a lead for improving KMC in Egypt aiming at reducing neonatal mortality and morbidity. She implemented on 19600 babies and could reduce neonatal mortality at discharge from NICU by 25%
  • Nominated as Ashoka fellow, 2013 for my cause " improving nutrition during first 2 years of life.
